Dineo Ranaka announced new talk show
Dineo Ranaka is getting her own talk show, and she‘s bringing the real, the raw, and the relevant.
The radio personality announced her latest project, The DRS (The Dineo Ranaka Show), on Tuesday, April 22, on Instagram, where she posted a teaser clip as well as a post that has fans excited.
In her usual brash style, Dineo laughed in the clip: “Finally! Dineo Ranaka has finally woken up and understood she actually wants to do something substantial with her YouTube channel after having owned it for how many years?!”
But she explained — this is no careless return. The DRS is her way of carving out space for meaningful discussions.
“Let‘s talk about things that matter, things that concern us in society,” she said. “This is where we come to tackle the real, the raw, and the relevant.”
Unlike a podcast, Dineo wants this show to feel more traditional — good talk show energy, not another sit-down interview.
She‘s going in with a proven format, a fresh twist, and a lofty vision. Referencing Zechariah 4:10 in her press release, she referenced humble beginnings with lofty hopes: “Do not despise these small beginnings.”
So what will the audience receive? A mix of warm understanding, wit, and the kind of energy Dineo brings to everything she does.
She‘s going to have a wide variety of guests, from everyday community heroes and experts to a couple of familiar celebrity visitors. And no two programs will ever be the same.
The DRS officially premieres Monday, April 28 at 4 p.m. on Dineo‘s YouTube channel.
She‘s also on the hunt for partnerships to keep the show going strong: “My radio broadcasting experience will hold me in good stead where revenue generation is concerned,” she said.
“I would like to build a reputation as one of the best talk show hosts. Up there with the Felicias, Noleens, Ellens, and Oprahs of the world.”
