In a touching gesture, a group of supporters recently visited Phumlani Cemetery in East London to clean the graves of the late singer and her sister, proving that her memory remains very much alive.

The artist, whose real name was Bulelwa Mkutukana, passed away on 11 December 2023 due to liver complications.

A TikTok video shared by @simunye_saba captured the emotional moment as fans lovingly tended to Zahara’s final resting place.

The clip was captioned, “Let’s go and clean Zahara and her sister’s grave.. Gone but not forgotten,” and quickly gained over 13,000 likes and hundreds of comments from people who still struggle to come to terms with her passing.

Fans continue to express disbelief that such a powerful voice is no longer with us, with many sharing that they still listen to her songs and rewatch her performances.;
