Kim Kardashian bags a degree in Law
Kim Kardashian has officially added another impressive milestone to her résumé; she’s completed her legal studies after a determined six-year journey.
In an emotional post shared on her social media, Kim opened up about her unconventional path to becoming a lawyer.
“Six years ago, I embarked on an unconventional path to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer,” she wrote. “It wasn’t easy, and it took longer than planned, but I never gave up.”
The road wasn’t without its challenges.
Kardashian candidly shared that each course came with its own share of “doubt, tears, and triumph,” especially when tackling subjects she initially feared.
But through it all, she persevered, and now stands proud of an accomplishment that goes beyond personal ambition.
“I chose a rigorous program registered with the California State Bar,” Kim explained, referring to the First-Year Law Students’ Examination (commonly known as the “baby bar”) route.
With 75 college credits under her belt, she enrolled in a four-year law program, one that ultimately stretched to six. But as she put it, “The journey was real, and so is the accomplishment.”
Photos accompanying the announcement show Kardashian in a ceremonial cap and gown, beaming with fellow graduates and family members.
One particularly touching moment came during her graduation ceremony, where Chris Young, Michelle West, and Dawn Jackson, three individuals whose prison release she and her team helped champion, spoke at the event.
“Their deeply personal stories of perseverance through adversity and injustice profoundly inspire me,” she shared. “They form the heart of my ‘why.’”
Kim took a moment to thank those who guided her along the way, including activist and CNN commentator Van Jones, who first introduced her to the legal path, and her mentors Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney. S
he also gave special recognition to Sam Farkas and Chuck Shonholtz, who dedicated countless hours to her studies and success.
“This experience has shaped me profoundly,” Kim wrote in closing. “Here’s to celebrating resilience and new beginnings!”
