Enhle Mbali speaks about her failed marriage with Black Coffee
Actress Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa has opened up about the heartbreak she endured during her marriage to world-renowned DJ Black Coffee.
Speaking honestly in an interview with Relebogile Mabotja on 702, Enhle shared how the marriage, which ended in divorce proceedings back in 2019, had left her emotionally drained.
Describing herself as a “single married woman,” Enhle revealed that she often carried the weight of raising their two children on her own, as Black Coffee was frequently away due to work commitments.
But the turning point in the relationship, she said, came when he stepped outside of their marriage.
“I’m proud of how I handled my marriage. I never cheated, not once, until the day I decided to leave because I could no longer take the punishment to myself,” she said.
“It’s multi-layered. But my non-negotiable was children in a marriage. Once there were two children by two different women, I said, ‘You don’t love me. In fact, you’re going to kill me.”
Enhle admitted that she lost all respect for her former partner and had to find healing on her own terms.
“I forgave him for the apologies I never got. I forgave myself,” she added, showing the depth of emotional growth she’s experienced since the split.
Her comments come just as Black Coffee’s girlfriend, Victoria Gonzalez, stirred speculation online after sharing throwback photos with the DJ from 2019, the same year Enhle filed for divorce.
The timing has raised questions about when their relationship actually began and whether it overlapped with the final stages of his marriage to Enhle.
