
Naledi Aphiwe confirms breakup with Mawelele
Naledi Aphiwe has confirmed that her relationship with fellow musician Mawelele has officially come to an end.
The award-winning artist addressed the matter during a recent interview on Metro FM, where she made it clear that their romance was genuine and not a publicity stunt.
“There was nothing fake about it,” Aphiwe said in the candid chat, adding weight to the emotional fallout that has followed their split.
The interview, which aired on Thursday, 12 June, quickly caught attention after Metro FM shared a snippet on Instagram.
News of the breakup comes shortly after Mawelele hinted that he would soon speak out about his side of the story, leaving fans divided and curious about what really happened.
Despite the heartbreak, Aphiwe appeared poised and focused, joining @lilyfaith.official on the show to promote their new single “Waiting for You” featuring rapper Blxckie.
