Grammy-winning music producer and artist Zakes Bantwini recently took to Instagram to celebrate a proud moment in his family, his wife, Nandi Madida, has reached a major milestone as host of Africa Now Radio on Apple Music Live.
In a heartfelt post, Zakes poured out admiration for Nandi’s journey, applauding her consistency and passion after hosting 100 episodes of the globally streamed show.
He shared photos from a celebratory dinner in her honour and expressed how inspiring it has been to watch her grow in the role.
“The other day we celebrated my wife @nandi_madida 🎉✨ 100 EPISODES AND COUNTING ✨🎉,” Zakes began, before praising her energy and commitment to spotlighting African music and culture.
“My incredible wife just hit a major milestone 100 episodes as the host of Africa Now Radio on Apple Music Live. Watching her passion, dedication, and authentic voice connect with audiences around the world has been nothing short of inspiring,” he wrote.
Zakes also highlighted the impact Nandi has made from the very beginning of the show.
“From episode 1 to episode 100, she’s brought the vibrant sounds of Africa to global audiences, championed amazing artists, and created a space where culture and music truly come alive.”
He further acknowledged the team behind her success, giving a special mention to the show’s producer.
