Musa celebrates milestone moment as colleagues join elite ranks of medical specialists
Dr Musa Mthombeni has shared his excitement after officially becoming a newly elected member of the Young Specialist Forum under the Colleges of Medicine South Africa (CMSA).
Taking to Instagram, Musa reflected on what he described as a deeply meaningful evening, where he witnessed several of his peers and colleagues being admitted into the CMSA as specialists and sub-specialists.
“Last night I had the honour of watching some of my friends and colleagues get admitted into the Colleges of Medicine South Africa. We now have a new bunch of specialists and sub specialists ready to assist you all over the country,” he wrote.
But the moment was even more special on a personal level, as it marked his own quiet but powerful career move within the CMSA structure.
“This one was particularly special for me as a new elected member of the Young Specialist Forum in the CMSA,” he added.
Musa rounded off his message with words of encouragement for aspiring medical professionals, reminding them of the purpose behind the pressure.
“Onwards and upwards and if you were looking for motivation to study, this is it.”
