Makhadzi opens up about her abusive ex-boyfriend
Award-winning singer Makhadzi has shocked fans with disturbing revelations about her past relationship, accusing her ex-boyfriend of physically abusing her.
The Ghanama hitmaker, whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, took to Facebook to share the harrowing details in a series of emotional posts.
The singer posted a video showing a visible scar on her forehead, claiming it was the result of one of several assaults she endured.
In the clip, Makhadzi recalled confronting her ex about the abuse, only to receive a chilling response.
“Can you see this? I was beaten like a dog. When I asked him why he was beating me, he said it was so I could be uglier, even worse,” she said.

hough she has not revealed the man’s identity, Makhadzi said their relationship was once filled with love, until it turned violent.
What prompted her to finally speak out was a fear for her life.
According to Makhadzi, the unnamed ex had threatened to kill her if she went ahead with releasing her new album.
In one of her posts, she wrote, “I was beaten like a chicken on Christmas Day. I will tell my story. Just know that my album, #OneWomanStanding, is coming. And it might be my last because they’ll kill me the moment I expose them. This album holds many secrets. I chose to reveal these secrets because I love music. Just say RIP now, because I know I’m revealing a lot, I’m digging my own grave.”
Although the Facebook posts were later deleted, Makhadzi explained that she took them down to avoid being blocked by the platform.
Still, she stood by every word, insisting the abuse was real.
The revelations have left fans stunned, with some expressing deep concern for the star’s safety, while others questioned the timing of her confessions, accusing her of using the situation to promote her album.
