Babes Wodumo remembers late husband Mampintsha on his birthday
Gqom star Babes Wodumo poured her heart out in a touching tribute to her late husband, Mampintsha, on what would have been his birthday.
The Wena Wodumo hitmaker took to Instagram on Friday, 27 June 2025, to honour the memory of the man who once stood by her side both in music and in life.
Alongside emotional videos and pictures of their time together, Babes reflected on the depth of their bond and how deeply she still feels his absence.
Her caption, written with raw honesty, revealed just how much she continues to grieve her partner, who passed away suddenly on Christmas Eve in 2022.
“Happy heavenly birthday Babazi ♥️ Today is your birthday and a day we celebrate you. We argued your whereabouts but every moment and second I think of you. I will forever cherish you and love you. I am who I am because of you, Mabhebeza. I will forever embrace you and love you till I fulfill our promise to one another. Every single moment without you is a moment I wish you were here to spend with me, Babazi,” she wrote.
