Kelvin Momo warns against scammers posing to be his management
Amapiano producer Kelvin Momo has broken his silence after reports surfaced that a fraudulent company has been falsely claiming to represent him.
In a public statement released by his official team at Squared Productions, the acclaimed producer distanced himself from the individuals behind the scam and urged fans and industry professionals to be vigilant.
According to the statement, a group operating under the name HDS CONCEPTS, along with individuals identifying themselves as “Devon” has been impersonating his management and misleading stakeholders into believing they are authorized to handle bookings and collaborations on his behalf.
“It has come to our attention that a company operating under the name HDS CONCEPTS has been falsely claiming to represent Kelvin Momo as his official management,” the statement read.
“These individuals further allege to be associated with or known as Devon, acting on behalf of Kelvin Momo.”
Kelvin Momo made it clear that he has no ties to HDS CONCEPTS or any person using the name Devon.
“We would like to firmly state that Kelvin Momo is not managed by HDS CONCEPTS or any individual claiming to be Devon. These claims are entirely false and misleading.”
To protect his brand and his supporters, the producer included several contact numbers being used in the scam, warning fans, promoters, and collaborators not to engage with any of them. The numbers flagged in the statement are 065 928 3359, 060 858 8607, and 060 183 2350.
He urged all professional engagements to be handled exclusively through his verified team at Squared Productions, whose contact details are available on his official social media platforms.
“Kelvin Momo and his team are committed to transparency and professionalism in all business dealings,” the statement continued.
“We encourage fans, promoters, and partners to verify all booking inquiries through the official channels.”
