Hulk Hogan dies at 71

Wrestling fans around the world are in shock following the death of legendary WWE star Hulk Hogan, who passed away at his home in Clearwater, Florida, at age 71.

His representative confirmed the news on Thursday, July 24, revealing that emergency services responded to a cardiac arrest call.

Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, was a six-time WWE champion and one of the most iconic figures in professional wrestling history.

His trademark charisma and unforgettable presence made him a household name and a global phenomenon.

The news of his passing comes just weeks after his team dismissed speculation about his health, assuring fans in June that there was “no reason to panic.”

At the time, his rep clarified that he had undergone successful neck surgery and was dealing with ongoing back issues.

The star himself was open about the toll wrestling had taken on his body, revealing last year that he’d endured over 25 surgeries.

“Ten of them were back surgeries,” he said during an interview with Jake Paul. “Both knees and hips replaced, shoulders, everything.”

Hogan is survived by his wife Sky and his children. His legacy, both in and out of the ring, will be remembered by millions.
