The buzz is building as the countdown begins for the much-anticipated 2025 Free State Fashion Week (FSFW) and Women’s Day Business and Fashion Fest, set to light up Bloemfontein this Saturday.

Taking place at the city hall, the event promises a stylish fusion of fashion, music, storytelling, and women empowerment, all tied together under the vibrant theme, “Glam with a Touch of Pink.”

Leading the lineup is none other than Miss Universe 2019, Zozibini Tunzi, who will be making her Bloemfontein debut as the host of the Women’s Breakfast.

She’ll be joined by a dynamic mix of powerhouse women, including award-winning singer Ami Faku, beloved media personality Unathi Nkayi, local favourite Angela Linda, and crowd-favourite DJ Binnz.

Zozibini shared her excitement, saying: “I am so thrilled to be your host. It’s a celebration of purpose, a celebration of power. You are your ancestors’ wildest dreams. Show up, take up space, and shine unapologetically.”

According to FSFW CEO Candi Smith, this year’s edition is about more than just stylish looks and runway flair.

“We’re bringing together some of the most impactful women across fashion, music and media, and we’re just as passionate about creating space for emerging voices,” she explained.

As part of their commitment to local talent, FSFW has also put out an open call for designers and models, encouraging Free State creatives to step forward and own the runway.
