Mawhoo’s photographer accuses Enny Man Da Guitar of R50k camera theft
Amapiano star Mawhoo’s official photographer, Lebogang Lebero, has laid criminal charges against Bacardi artist Enny Man Da Guitar, accusing him of orchestrating the theft of camera equipment worth R50,000.
Lebero claims the “Tap & Run” hitmaker, whose real name is Ernest Zwane, arranged a photoshoot in Pretoria involving a group of unknown artists.
The shoot allegedly ended with his camera, tripod, lights, and other gear being stolen.
“He sent people to me as a recommendation and told me he had worked with them before. After they buttered me up and made promises, they robbed me,” Lebero said. “I managed to escape, imagine if they kidnapped me. He later claimed he didn’t know them, but I believe he was the mastermind.”
According to Lebero, the incident has damaged his professional relationship with Mawhoo, who lent him the camera for work purposes.
“Now she thinks I scammed her. The equipment cost R50,000, and I can’t replace it. I’ve lost my job and gigs because people no longer trust me.”
Lebero said he initially reached an agreement with Enny Man Da Guitar to split the cost of replacing the gear, but no payment has been made.
“I was patient with him, but he’s now acting like he knows nothing. I’m the breadwinner, my mom depends on me, and I will not rest until I get my equipment back.”

Enny Man Da Guitar has denied any involvement, insisting, “I’m not part of any theft or criminal activity. I’m just a musician trying to succeed. Lebo must open a criminal case. I wasn’t there, and I can’t be blamed for his loss.”
