Tyla passes-out in Brazil
Tyla passes out during a party in Brazil.
The South African music star had fans worried after a video surfaced on X showing the Grammy-winning star being carried to a car by security in São Paulo, Brazil.
The clip, which quickly went viral, captured the Water hitmaker dressed in white and appearing limp as a man hurriedly carried her into a black SUV while flashing cameras lit up the scene.
A voice in the background can be heard faintly saying, “Thank you, guys,” before the footage cuts off.
The dramatic nature of the video immediately sparked speculation online.
Many feared that Tyla had collapsed due to a medical emergency, while others suggested she may have been drugged or struggling with exhaustion.
One user wrote, “This is alarming,” while another posted, “These crazy people prolly drugged her cuz ain’t no way!”
Just hours before the incident, Tyla had delivered a high-energy performance at H&M’s Brazil launch event, headlining alongside Anitta and Gilberto Gil.
On stage, she boldly addressed critics, telling the crowd during her performance of Mr Media: “Too many people lying on my name.”
With no visible signs of fatigue at the show, fans were left stunned by the viral clip.
By the following morning, however, the mood had shifted.
Sources close to the star clarified that Tyla was fine and had simply overindulged at the after-party.
One post read, “You guys, Tyla is okay, she was just drunk as heck last night… she found the video funny.”
Another echoed the sentiment: “She’s okay guys, she just partied a little too hard.”
While fans expressed relief, the video also sparked debate about celebrity privacy and safety.
Many criticized the lack of discretion from Tyla’s team, noting that the SUV’s windows were open and that no one shielded her from cameras. Some described the footage as “unsettling,” while others questioned why her security did not do more to protect her in such a vulnerable moment.
