Buzzi Lee says she wants to put Pretoria on the map

Rapper Buzzi Lee has opened up about her bigger vision for music, revealing that her journey is about more than just personal success.

The Pretoria-born star shared that she hopes to leave a lasting impact by elevating South African talent and putting her hometown firmly on the map.

“I just want to uplift our country even more,” she explained.

“I feel like there are so many talented people, and we just only used to the people we know and think that’s all. The fact that we can take it to bigger heights… I feel like the more of us trying, the more of us can reach outside of South Africa and represent.”

For Buzzi Lee, representing Pretoria is just as important as representing South Africa as a whole.

“I just want to be another voice, especially from Pretoria, because I feel like it’s important to represent my city,” she added.
