Award-winning music producer Chymamusique, real name Collen Ntala Mmotla, is mourning the loss of his close friend DJ Poizen, who tragically died in a car accident on Saturday, 30 August 2025.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, 8 September, the Limpopo-born star poured out his grief while recalling that he was with Poizen during his final moments.
“See you in heaven, mchana (my boy). I spent the last few minutes of your life with you. #RIPPoizen,” he wrote.
The producer also shared images from the wreckage and bid farewell to his vehicle, which had been with him for a decade.
“Goodbye to you, too. You carried me for 10 years, 250,000 km. The goal was 1,000,000 kms and 40 years together,” he captioned.
Just days earlier, fans had been worried about Chymamusique’s condition after it was revealed that he had undergone multiple operations following the crash.
He later confirmed via X that he was finally out of the ICU and on the road to recovery.
