Cyan Boujee opens up about her personal life on L-Tido Podcast.
The influencer tackled everything from the controversial Russian recruitment scandal to her dating preferences and why she decided to go under the knife.
Speaking about her cosmetic journey, Cyan revealed she got her first BBL in 2021 and has since had more procedures, insisting the decision was entirely hers.
“I did my BBL because I just definitely wanted to,” she explained, adding that her inspiration came from none other than American rapper Cardi B.
“I had a lady I looked up to, and I just knew that one day I wanted to look like her.”
The star also reflected on her teenage years, admitting that she often felt isolated because of her appearance.
“No one really wanted to associate themselves with me because I looked so bold and straight. My body was like an ice-cream body… straight up. If I wore pants, it was worse,” she recalled.
Cyan went on to point out how early beauty standards are ingrained in society, even through media aimed at children.
“Let’s talk about cartoons. If you see a cartoon and you see a big woman there, aren’t they always the villain? And then the attractive ones are always so innocent and the queens. But the big ones are always angry, all the time.”
For Cyan, changing her body was tied to her larger dream of stardom.
She admitted she knew from a young age that she wanted to be a superstar, and enhancing her appearance was, in her words, a way to be more accepted and loved by the public.
