Miss SA and Bridegett Jones reacts to bullying allegations
With the Miss South Africa 2025 competition drawing closer, the spotlight has turned not only to the glamour of the top 10 finalists but also to controversy surrounding one of them.
Content creator Kayla Jenecker recently alleged on TikTok that finalist Bridgett Jones had bullied her during their time working together, claiming the behavior created a toxic environment that affected her mental health.
In response to the circulating claims, the Miss SA organisation released a statement confirming they were aware of the matter.
“All our participants in the programme are expected to uphold the Miss South Africa code of conduct, which outlines our commitment to respect, integrity and accountability throughout the competition. Miss SA does not condone any behaviour that is not aligned to these values,” the organisation stated.
They added that while the concerns are taken seriously, any issues will be addressed through formal processes already in place, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining a respectful and inclusive space for all contestants.

Jones has since spoken out, distancing herself from the allegations.
Taking to Instagram, she said the claims were tied to a case at her former workplace, but she was not part of it.
“The matter referenced relates to my former employer and colleagues in a legal case in which I had no involvement. By the time those proceedings took place, I had already left the company,” she explained.
