Tyler ICU addresses Tebogo G Mashego claims about DJ Maphorisa
The feud between Tebogo G Mashego and DJ Maphorisa has taken another turn after Tyler ICU stepped in to share his thoughts.
Mashego has been airing grievances online, accusing Maphorisa of withholding royalties from the hit track Biri Marung and even hurling insults at the producer.
On 22 September 2025, Tyler ICU took to Instagram to caution Mashego about his approach. He warned that dragging Maphorisa publicly and disrespecting him could backfire.
“The older people around him should have taught him how these things work. Because right now, you’re insulting Porry, do you know how many people you’re going to offend? People are now addressing the fact that you’re being disrespectful to elders,” he said.
Tyler urged Mashego to fight for what he believes he is owed, but to do so with respect: “Sure, you want what is due to you, but be respectful; that man is an elder to you. You can’t just throw your tongue around just because you’re angry.”
Tyler also suggested that Mashego was being misled by those around him.
“A lot of things are not adding up, and I feel as though his friends are influencing him. He got himself in a situation where anything is a reality to him. Like, whatever anyone says to him, he believes it as fact.”
