Award-winning South African singer Makhadzi has hit back at City Press after the publication reported that she’s facing possible asset liquidation due to an alleged tax dispute. According to the outlet, the Murahu hitmaker reportedly owes a consulting company R200,000, a claim that quickly stirred conversation online. However, Makhadzi wasted no time in addressing the report. Taking to her official X (Twitter) page, she accused the publication of spreading falsehoods and damaging her image. She wrote: “Dear City Press, can you also publish that I am doing ONE WOMAN SHOW 20 and 21 December at Makhuvha and Ha Rabali Stadium… At least lies must be added with the truth." "Whoever published this still thinks we are in 2010 where you can just wake up and damage an artist’s image by lies knowing very well they can’t defend themselves.
