Mawhoo opens up about fallout with Naledi Aphiwe: “It got really bad”

Mawhoo addresses beef with Naledi Aphiwe
Amapiano star Mawhoo has finally broken her silence on her ongoing feud with fellow vocalist Naledi Aphiwe, revealing how their once-friendly relationship took a dramatic turn.
During a candid interview on Gagasi FM with Selbeyonce, the Ngilimele hitmaker explained that things between them started off well, and the two even planned to collaborate on a song.
However, the friendship reportedly soured after a heated altercation involving Mawhoo’s sister, Amahle.
“I remember there was a time she said she wanted me to help her, so she came to Joburg and we recorded a song, but unfortunately it didn’t work out,” Mawhoo recalled.
“The beef started when she started fighting with my sister. My sister was hosting an event, and both of us were booked. Things got messy when she tried to bring in almost 12 people who didn’t buy tickets.”
According to Mawhoo, the situation escalated the next day when her sister asked Naledi for a refund.
“Naledi started swearing and insulting uAmahle, yoh, I can’t even repeat the things she said because she also spoke ill about my sister’s late child. It got bad,” she said.
The singer added that after the fallout with her sister, Naledi began taking jabs at her too, prompting her to cut ties and walk away from the drama.
