Online users drag LKG over disappearance of former hotel’s website
South African media personality and DJ Lerato Kganyago has found herself back in the spotlight after her former luxury hotel, 12 On Hillel Villa and Spa, was unexpectedly brought up during the ongoing Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.
The boutique hotel, which was once associated with Kganyago and her husband, businessman Thami Ndlala, reportedly came up during testimony from an anonymous witness on Monday, 20 October 2025.
The witness mentioned an alleged event said to have been hosted at the venue by a police officer named Vusi Ndlala, reportedly attended by several senior officials.
Soon after the hotel’s name surfaced at the hearing, a social media user noticed that its online presence had mysteriously vanished.
“All of a sudden, after being mentioned at the #MadlangaCommission, their website has been deleted LOL,” wrote X user @Madumetja__M08.

The discovery sparked fresh discussions about the establishment and its links to the celebrity couple.
According to a 2023 TimesLIVE interview, Kganyago clarified ownership of the hotel, saying, “It belongs to my husband, and I support my husband because whatever is his, I embrace it.”
Online users shared mixed reactions to the hotel’s sudden disappearance.
@StoneMokone commented, “Nothing sinister there. They might be running away from online ratings,” while @KaraboKbmags remarked, “Nothing can ever be deleted from the internet unless it’s a Far Eastern Asian drama.”
Another user, @SAPresidentZA, jokingly added, “Lol, it is working, thina sila manje namaphoyisa having a good time.”
Although Kganyago has distanced herself from the business, her name continues to trend as South Africans weigh in on the mysterious website shutdown and the hotel’s renewed public attention
