Chymamusique undergoes emergency brain surgery
South African DJ and producer Chymamusique has revealed that he recently underwent emergency brain surgery following ongoing health complications.
The star took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the news with his fans, explaining that he had a craniotomy, a procedure performed to access the brain and relieve pressure or remove damaged tissue.
In his emotional post, Chymamusique wrote: “I couldn’t share my journey for the past week due to emergency brain surgery called Craniotomy. My brain, and speech and body are still disturbed so I won’t be able to take calls or really talk in person for the next 2 to 3 weeks. See you on the other side.”
The DJ also shared a photo of his stitched head, giving fans a glimpse into his difficult recovery process.
This comes months after Chymamusique survived a horrific car accident that claimed the life of fellow DJ Poizen.
Following the accident, he was hospitalized and underwent several procedures while recovering from serious injuries. His latest surgery is believed to be linked to complications from that incident.
Support has been pouring in from fans and fellow musicians, with many sending prayers and words of encouragement under his post.
