Monique Muller finally speaks out after her alleged firearm arrest
Social media personality Monique Muller has finally broken her silence following reports of her alleged arrest in October 2025.
Muller, who shares a child with TV presenter Katlego Maboe, made headlines last month after she was reportedly taken into custody for allegedly being in possession of an illegal firearm.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, 6 November, the influencer appeared to indirectly address the situation with a cryptic post.
She shared a photo along with a powerful quote that read:
“She’s an alchemist. Everything sent to destroy her only made her more radiant and powerful.”
The post came weeks after social media was abuzz with news of her alleged arrest in Ravensmead, where she was reportedly nabbed alongside five others.
Online users couldn’t stop talking about the incident, with many weighing in on what could have led to the shocking turn of events.
According to reports, SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg confirmed that Muller faced charges related to the unlawful possession of a firearm.
She was said to have appeared briefly at the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court on 21 October, with the case postponed for further investigation.
