Chymamusique rushed back to ICU after seizure and internal bleeding

Chymamusique hospitalised again
South African DJ and producer Chymamusique is once again fighting for his life after being rushed back to the hospital in critical condition.
Just over two months after surviving a near-fatal car accident that claimed the lives of his close friend DJ Poizen and four others, the hitmaker, whose real name is Collen Ntala Mmotla has sadly returned to the ICU.
A spokesperson confirmed the news on the DJ’s X (Twitter) page, revealing that he was admitted on 27 October after suffering a seizure and internal bleeding.
The revelation came after a fan enquired about Chymamusique’s recent silence online, prompting a heartbreaking update.
“He is back in ICU since Monday 27th October due to internal bleeding & a seizure.”
Since the devastating crash on 30 August 2025 near Polokwane, Chymamusique has undergone a long and painful recovery.
He previously underwent a craniotomy (brain surgery) and multiple other procedures before being discharged to continue healing at home.
Sadly, his recovery took a dark turn, forcing him to return to hospital for further treatment.
On 7 November, the DJ took to his Instagram stories to express how emotionally and physically draining the journey has been, admitting he was “lost for words” as he reflected on his ongoing medical battle.
In another sombre post from his hospital bed, he wrote simply: “Surviving feels heavy.”
According to updates from his team, the star has already endured six major surgeries targeting his legs, arms, cheeks, jaw, muscles, and brain.
Two more operations, one on his teeth and another on his knee, are still ahead before he can finally focus on rehabilitation.
The heartbreaking news has sparked an outpouring of concern across social media, with fans sending messages of love and support.
One user, _Bonga, expressed shock: “Yho, Jesu. Kanti, how bad was this accident?” while another, justkuda, added, “He’s in the ICU again? Didn’t he just leave it?”
