Seemah apologises to DJ Zinhle after calling Murdah Bongz a “dog”
South African influencer Seemah has issued a public apology to DJ Zinhle after insulting her husband, Murdah Bongz, during a heated podcast discussion.
The drama unfolded after Murdah was accused of cheating on Zinhle, sparking an online storm and drawing comments from many fans, including Seemah.
On the November 9 episode of her Spreading Humours Podcast, which she co-hosts with Zille and Yanda Woods, Seemah lashed out at Murdah, calling him a “dog” for allegedly embarrassing his wife.
Her remarks didn’t sit well with Zinhle, who later admitted that Seemah’s words “hit her hard.”
The DJ took to social media to express her disappointment, revealing that she actually knew Seemah personally and had even supported her business.
“Nothing hit me harder than someone calling my husband inja (a dog) and justifying it by saying that I was hurt,” Zinhle said.
“The lady and I used to chat in the DMs, and I even bought from her business.”
Realizing how deeply her comments had affected Zinhle, Seemah reached out directly to apologise.
Responding to the DJ’s TikTok post, she wrote: “Molo, sis wam. Please do check your DMs on IG. I will also make a public apology on the podcast. I was angry, yes, but I should’ve still been respectful about it. Xolo, sis wam.”
The influencer, who previously made headlines over the Russian Alabuga job scandal, admitted she had gone too far this time.
“If she’s upset, it’s cool, I’ll apologise. I was on her side. I’ll just mind my own next time. I talk too much, ka phapha,” she said.
