South African actor Thabang Molaba is set to make waves on the big screen as he joins the cast of the highly anticipated Hollywood film, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.

Molaba, best known for his role in Blood & Water, shared his excitement about landing the part, describing the moment as surreal.

“It was so surreal, I was like, this is happening. I was watching these people, now I am starring alongside them. Like what?” he told Spotlight South Africa.

Reflecting on the experience of being on set, he added, “I saw that when I was on set, I said, ‘there’s still a long way to go, and I’m prepared for that and I am happy to take it on.’”

The film is set to premiere on 14 November 2025, giving fans a chance to see Molaba share the screen with some of Hollywood’s biggest names.
