“I’m perfectly okay”: 2Baba clears the air on drama involving new wife Natasha (Video)

2Baba denies marital crisis
Nigerian music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia has finally spoken out about the ongoing controversy surrounding his marriage to his new wife, Natasha.
The couple dominated headlines earlier this year after the superstar married the Nigerian politician, following the end of his long-standing marriage to Annie Macaulay.
In recent days, rumours have circulated online claiming that Natasha has been physically and emotionally abusing 2Baba.
Social media users alleged that the union has been turbulent, with constant disputes, claims that intensified after several videos hinting at trouble in their home surfaced online.
The situation escalated further when the phrase “Help me” appeared on 2Baba’s Instagram Stories, sparking widespread concern.
However, the singer has now shut down the panic, explaining that he did not post the message.
According to him, the public is reading too much into the situation and putting his wife at risk.
“This issue is getting out of hand, and you people are putting Natasha at risk. I’m perfectly okay. Someone else posted that on my IG; I’m not the one who posted it. Families do have issues, but we will definitely resolve everything,” he said.
2Baba urged fans and the public to stop interfering in their private matters, adding that every marriage has its challenges and they are committed to working through theirs.
