Mac G
Mac G’s Podcast and Chill has cemented its dominance after being officially named the Most Streamed Podcast of 2025 by a South African on Spotify, marking yet another major milestone for the controversial yet wildly popular show. The platform also confirmed that the podcast held the No. 1 spot in 2024, proving its staying power and unmatched influence in the local digital space. The news sparked a wave of reactions on X, where supporters and critics weighed in on the podcast’s continued reign. One fan celebrated the achievement, writing, “This podcast does not have a competition in this country.” Another user praised the team’s evolution and resilience: “They got the best formula... Mac G tried different things before it eventually took shape. Many that started before him with huge followers didn't get the perfect formula. What a journey.” Not everyone was impressed, though. A critic commented, “This says a lot about the low IQ and taste of an average South African. Embarrassing to say the least.”
