Award-winning musician Makhadzi turned heads at the 31st South African Music Awards after stepping out in a striking white gown designed by media personality Somizi Mhlongo.
Taking to social media, the singer shared photos her look, accompanied by a playful and energetic caption praising Somizi’s design skills.
Makhadzi made it clear that the collaboration is far from over, joking that anyone who said Somizi is a designer “is not going to rest” because they have only just begun.
The Ghanama hitmaker revealed she had been searching for a dramatic outfit to attend the prestigious awards ceremony and credited Somizi and his fashion brand for delivering exactly what she envisioned.
She thanked the newly graduated fashion designer for giving her “100% of what I was looking forward to,” adding that the final look exceeded her expectations.
