Prince Kaybee warns against December overspending as he urges financial discipline
DJ and producer Prince Kaybee has shared a candid message about money habits, cautioning South Africans against letting December festivities ruin their finances for the rest of the year.
Taking to social media, the hitmaker warned that the festive season should not leave people “struggling to breathe financially” for the first six months of a new year.
He questioned the logic of spending all one’s savings in December, reminding followers that a new year begins just weeks later.
“Blowing all savings in one month forgetting in 30 days a new year is starting is absurd,” Prince Kaybee wrote.
He added that while those who can genuinely afford festive spending should enjoy themselves, others should be honest about their financial limits.
“If you can afford it sharp, if you can’t like me, let’s sit down,” he said, placing himself among those choosing restraint.
December shouldn’t be the reason you struggle to breathe financially for 6 months of a new year.
Blowing all savings in one month forgetting in 30 days a new year is starting is absurd, if you can afford it sharp, if you can’t like me, lets sit down🙂
