DJ Warras lashes out at Rachel Kolisi, accusing her of exploiting her divorce ahead of ‘Falling Forward’ documentary
Broadcaster DJ Warras has sparked controversy online after criticising Rachel Kolisi ahead of the premiere of her upcoming documentary, Falling Forward.
While Rachel has received widespread praise for sharing her personal journey, Warras took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice his disapproval, accusing her of using her divorce from Siya Kolisi for attention.
The criticism came after controversial blogger Musa Khawula reshared a promotional clip of Rachel’s documentary, mistakenly captioning it as the launch of her book.
The post read: “Rachel Kolisi launches her new book post-divorcing Siya Kolisi with a highly questionable sexuality ‘Falling Forward’.”
Reacting to the post, DJ Warras wrote: “I don’t think the title has anything to do with sexuality, Musa. However, I find this woman insufferable 😐 Bro, we get it, you got divorced! Sorry! But now it’s become her whole identity; she just wants everyone to feel sorry for how heartbroken she is.”
Warras went further, suggesting that Rachel should have handled the situation privately, particularly for the sake of her children.
He claimed that her life is not as difficult as portrayed, pointing to what he described as a generous divorce settlement.
“She is out of the limelight ‘that she couldn’t handle’ now, go on and live a normal life outside of a marriage that ‘wasn’t working’! Now every f**king month we must hear how SHE STILL hasn’t healed and how HARD her life is (with 20 bars divorce settlement for free) and how ‘everyone is asking her about her journey’ 😪 JESUS! WHO?? WHO is asking? Can they stop and Google ways to heal! Yeses,” he added.
