Reality TV star claims she dated late Mampintsha, says he spoiled her with money

Mampintsha’s sidechick opens up about their relationship in reality TV show

A fresh wave of controversy has erupted online after a woman appeared on a reality TV show and claimed she was once romantically involved with the late Kwaito star Mampintsha.

The revelation surfaced in a recent episode of Slay Queens, where a woman identified as Boitumelo Patricia spoke openly about her alleged relationship with the former Big Nuz member, who was married to Babes Wodumo at the time.

A clip from the episode, shared on X on 21 December 2025, quickly went viral and sparked heated debate across social media.

During the show, Patricia suggested that Mampintsha often compared her to his wife, saying he saw similarities between the two of them.

“I feel like that man saw me as a mini Babes,” she said. “He’d say, ‘You remind me of Maboshongo, she was like this when she was younger. She liked colourful things like you.’”

Patricia, who is known online as a social media influencer and nightclub hostess, also described the late musician as affectionate and financially generous.

According to her, Mampintsha was far from stingy and regularly spoiled her with money. “He was very sweet,” she claimed, adding that he would casually offer to send her cash.

“He would say, ‘Let me send you an eWallet.’”

To back up her claims, Patricia even played what she alleged was a WhatsApp voice note from the Umlilo hitmaker, further fuelling speculation and public reaction.

Despite reminiscing fondly about the relationship, Patricia admitted that she is not proud of being involved with a married man.

She expressed regret over the situation and issued an apology to Babes Wodumo. “I’m sorry, it’s not like I’m proud, but it happens,” she said.
