Black Coffee’s foundation feeds struggling families across South Africa

DJ Black Coffee gives back to the community ahead of Christmas

Internationally acclaimed DJ and producer Black Coffee has once again shown that his impact goes far beyond music.

The Grammy Award winner, born Nkosinathi Maphumulo, has been actively giving back through the Black Coffee Foundation, which launched a nationwide food relief drive aimed at helping vulnerable families this festive season.

Under the theme Feed A Family and Share The Joy, the foundation set out to support communities that might otherwise experience a difficult Christmas.

The initiative kicked off in KwaZulu-Natal, where food donations were distributed in areas including uMlazi and KwaMashu.

From there, the team travelled to the Eastern Cape, reaching several communities such as Ngangelizwe, Waterfall, Qweqwe, Thipini, Zimbane Valley, Bizana and Ngcobo, as well as Silverton.

The outreach continued in Gauteng, where families in Soweto received much-needed food parcels.

The foundation’s festive charity drive is expected to conclude in Limpopo, marking the final stop in a journey that has touched multiple provinces and countless households.
