His burial came as developments in the murder investigation offered some sense of progress. The South African Police Service confirmed that two suspects linked to the fatal shooting were arrested shortly before the funeral. According to reports, the suspects were taken in for questioning and have since been formally charged with murder. The Gauteng Provincial Government praised SAPS for what it described as swift action in the case, commending investigators for moving quickly to apprehend those allegedly involved in the killing. While DJ Warras has now been laid to rest, the legal process is still ongoing. The suspects are expected to appear in court as the state builds its case, with many South Africans closely watching proceedings and hoping justice will be served for the late star and his family.
