Sol Phenduka opens up about life after Kaya FM fired him
South African media personality Sol Phenduka has sarcastically opened up about his life following his exit from Kaya FM.
The radio host has had an eventful year, but being fired is something he likely did not see coming.
Reports previously stated that Kaya FM axed Sol after he and Mac G made demeaning remarks about Minnie Dlamini on Podcast and Chill.
Taking to X on Thursday, December 25, Sol claimed life has been tough since losing his job.
“Since Kaya fired me, it’s been tough. I can’t believe this also happened to me on Christmas,” he wrote, adding a heartbreak emoji.
However, the sarcasm in his post became clear in the video he attached.
In the clip, Sol is seen casually scooping ice cream from the fridge while insisting he is going through hard times.
Interestingly, fans and followers paid less attention to his claim and more to his outfit in the video.
Many poked fun at the shorts he was wearing, joking that they looked like they were made from a dishcloth.
“I almost thought that since things are tough, you’re wearing a dishcloth,” one user wrote.
Another commented, “You like eating so much, you even wear the tablecloth everywhere.”
