Felix Hlophe allegedly abused his wife on Christmas Eve

Gagasi FM breakfast host and comedian Felix Hlope has come under intense scrutiny following allegations of domestic abuse linked to a disturbing incident that allegedly unfolded on Christmas Eve.

The claims, which have sparked widespread discussion on social media, involve his first wife, Tracy, and their children.

According to reports and videos circulating online, the festive period reportedly took a dark turn after a heated dispute at Hlope’s home.

It is alleged that the situation escalated to the point where Tracy fled the house with their children, seeking safety at nearby neighbours’ homes.

Witnesses claim that neighbours contacted the police after Hlope was allegedly seen hooting repeatedly outside the residence, demanding entry and insisting on taking the children with him.

Police officers later arrived at the scene following the disturbance.

In one video that has since gone viral, a woman believed to be Tracy is heard calmly explaining to officers that she was willing to release the children to Hlope once he had calmed down and was sober.

Despite this, those present allege that the situation failed to de-escalate.

No arrests were made during the incident, and at the time of publication, there has been no official statement released by the police.

The allegations have raised further eyebrows given that they come just weeks after Hlope’s traditional marriage to his second wife, Ayanda Bhengu.

They have also reignited conversations around past claims, as this is not the first time his name has been linked to similar accusations.

In 2023, Hlope faced related allegations, which he publicly denied.
