Cyan Boujee faces legal action after alleged no-show at paid Northern Cape gig

Cyan Boujee is once again under fire as she reportedly ends 2025 surrounded by fresh controversy, this time over an alleged failure to honour a paid performance booking.

The influencer-turned-DJ is accused of not pitching for a Northern Cape event she was contracted to perform at, despite allegedly receiving full payment.

According to reports shared by MDNnewss on X on 28 December 2025, Cyan was booked to appear at the Katchane Lifestyle & KANAAN Pool Party, which took place on 27 December, but never showed up.

The event organisers claim Cyan was paid a booking fee of R28,000 and was listed as one of the main headliners on the festive gig lineup. Flights and accommodation were reportedly covered, and her attendance was allegedly confirmed ahead of the event.

However, on the day of the show, organisers say all attempts to reach Cyan and her management were unsuccessful.

Following her absence, Katchane Lifestyle & KANAAN issued an apology to attendees who had purchased tickets in anticipation of her performance.

The organisers have since indicated that they are pursuing legal action against the star and her team, accusing them of disappearing after receiving payment.

“We will be dealing legally with Cyan Boujee and her team, as this basically means they stole and ran off with our money,” the organisers reportedly stated.
