DJ Sbu’s YouTube channel with over 140k subscribers taken down

DJ Sbu’s YouTube channel removed
Media personality and entrepreneur DJ Sbu has given a shout-out to South African YouTubers while revealing that his personal YouTube channel has been unexpectedly taken down.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the radio host praised local content creators for their dedication and growth on the platform, highlighting the years of consistent hard work that have contributed to their success.
“S/O to all South African @YouTubers @YouTubeCreators. I’m proud of all the growth & success we have all achieved over the years of putting in consistent hardwork on @YouTube,” he wrote.
However, DJ Sbu went on to share disappointing news, revealing that his own YouTube channel, which had amassed over 140,000 subscribers was removed without explanation.
“My personal channel has been taken down with over 140k subscribers for no reason,” he added, expressing frustration over the situation.
The businessman also noted that fellow creators are the only ones who truly understand the inconvenience he is currently facing, hinting at the challenges content creators experience when platforms make sudden decisions that affect their livelihoods.
“Only you guys can fully comprehend the inconvenience I’m going through now,” he concluded.
