Loyiso Bala celebrates nearly 20-year friendship with Pearl Thusi
South African musician and broadcaster Loyiso Bala has taken to social media to celebrate his long-standing friendship with actress and media personality Pearl Thusi.
The Idols SA judge shared a series of photos of himself and Pearl on Instagram, reflecting on a bond that has lasted close to two decades.
“Close to 20 years of friendship, long before any of the noise or the fame,” Loyiso wrote.
He went on to highlight how their relationship has evolved over the years, noting that they are now “uncles and aunts to all these beautiful children,” navigating life together.
In the emotional caption, Loyiso also expressed gratitude to Pearl for the role she plays in his life and that of his wife, Jennifer.
“Thank you @pearlthusi for what you mean to Jen and I 🤍,” he added.
Adding a light-hearted touch, the singer jokingly referenced Pearl catching the bouquet at his wedding more than a decade ago.
“That bouquet you caught at our wedding was a good 15 years ago… we’re still waiting for it to do its thing,” he teased, sparking smiles from fans in the comment section.
The actress reacted to the post, “🥰🥰🥰 I think we actually just hit the 20 year mark… crazy!”
