“We will never celebrate you” – Nota fires back at Ntsiki Mazwai for self-praise

Nota drags Ntsiki for requesting to be celebrated

Nota Baloyi lashes out at Ntsiki Mazwai for demanding recognition for her contributions to South Africa’s creative scene.

In a recent X post, she highlighted her work in beadwork, poetry, music, and podcasting, claiming she had paved the way for many emerging artists.

Nota fired back, accusing Ntsiki of being self-centered, and jealous of rising stars.

He wrote: “You’re jealous of other kids… Not once have you celebrated anyone other than yourself. You don’t celebrate your siblings. We will never celebrate you. I gave you the benefit of the doubt, now it’s time I start listening to people’s advice. You got naked for Marie Claire, colonised!”

The exchange between both creatives have been on for hours, drawing attention from followers.

Fans were split, with some defending Ntsiki’s right to claim her accomplishments, while others sided with Nota, citing past controversies.
