Enhle Mbalu reveals she hasn’t given up on love
Enhle Mbali has spoken candidly about love, healing and the possibility of walking down the aisle again, years after her highly publicised divorce from Black Coffee.
The actress and TV personality shared her thoughts during an interview with Nounouche that premiered on YouTube on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, where she reflected on how personal growth has reshaped her views on marriage and relationships.
Despite still being entangled in a legal battle with her ex-husband, who recently approached the Supreme Court of Appeal to challenge a ruling ordering him to pay over R110,000 monthly in spousal maintenance and child support, Enhle said she has not closed the door on marriage.
Speaking to Bonnie Meslane, the January cover star made it clear that she believes she is now better equipped for commitment than she was in the past.
“I would definitely get married again. I’m wiser, smarter, emotionally well put, and I’ve healed a lot of my inner girl traumas,” she said.
“I think it’s highly imperative that when you do get into the construct of marriage, both men and women need to have dealt with the little girl and the little boy. You need tools of communication, conflict management and boundary-setting, and to know when something is good for you and when it’s not.”
Enhle also hinted that love has already found its way back into her life, although she made it clear that this chapter would remain private.
She explained that healing had taught her the importance of protecting what matters most.
“The things that are personal to you, you can’t give to people. The relationship I’m in right now, I’m not gonna give to you. I don’t need to prove that I’m in a relationship or that I’m happy by showing you who it is. It’s mine,” she said.
She added that keeping her relationship away from public scrutiny was a conscious decision rooted in self-growth.
“That healing taught me that if you care for something deeply, you keep it close to your heart.”
