Mpho Popps issues warning to controversial blogger Musa
Comedian Mpho Popps has drawn a firm line after controversial celebrity gossip blogger Musa Khawula allegedly went after his daughter, Naledi.
The outspoken star addressed the matter during a recent episode of the People Need Comedy (PNC) Podcast on the Podcast and Chill Network.
Mpho Popps, who is known for openly sharing moments with his daughter on social media, was left furious after a photo he posted of Naledi was used by Khawula to criticise her appearance.
The incident quickly sparked backlash online, with many social media users condemning the blogger for dragging a child into public commentary.
During the podcast, Popps spoke candidly about the situation and made it clear that he would not tolerate anyone attacking his family.
Although he did not mention Khawula by name, his comments left little doubt about who he was referring to.
He suggested that critics resort to targeting his loved ones because they can no longer find fault with his personal or professional life.
“The gay blogger has gone after my child. I’m still gonna deal with the gay blogger. Eyamadoda ayipheli,” Popps said.
He went on to explain that attempts to provoke him have shifted over the years, as previous criticism failed to shake him.
“This is not the first time someone’s gone after my marriage, you know what I mean? Because there’s nothing to go after. You can’t go after my career. You can’t say I’m up and coming. My career is doing quite well, and you understand?”
