Cassper Nyovest’s Fill Up Toyota Stadium creates over 1,500 jobs
Cassper Nyovest is still riding the high of his Fill Up Toyota Stadium concert, but this time the applause has less to do with ticket sales and everything to do with impact.
The hip hop heavyweight revealed that the Bloemfontein spectacle went far beyond music, injecting real value into the local economy by creating more than 1,500 jobs.
While fans often measure the success of Fill Up concerts by packed stadiums, Cassper made it clear that the true win lies in how many lives were positively affected behind the scenes.
The concert, held on 6 December 2025 at Toyota Stadium, drew an audience of 30,500 people and marked yet another historic chapter in the Fill Up series.
However, reflecting on the event, Cassper shared that the most meaningful statistic had nothing to do with crowd size.
Instead, it was the scale of employment generated through the project, especially after what he described as an emotionally and financially demanding journey to pull it off.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, 5 February 2026, the rapper shared detailed figures showing that the event created a total of 1,563 jobs.
This included 14 permanent positions and 1,496 temporary roles, underscoring how large-scale entertainment can translate into real economic opportunity.
The breakdown revealed that 450 women and 936 men were employed, with youth making up the majority at 1,150 workers.
The project also involved 53 interns and provided work for one person living with a disability.
In addition, 31 service providers were procured, further highlighting how Fill Up has grown into a fully fledged business operation rather than a once-off concert.
Sharing his thoughts alongside the figures, Cassper wrote, “This report reflects the real business of entertainment, jobs created, audiences reached, and impact delivered. Beyond the spotlight, this is the work.”
