Prince Kaybee responds to homophobia allegations

Prince Kaybee says he is not homophobic
South African music producer and DJ Prince Kaybee has addressed claims that he is homophobic.
The Charlotte hitmaker responded directly to the allegations, questioning the origin of the rumour and outlining his longstanding professional and personal relationships within the LGBTQ+ community.
“I don’t understand why people say I’m homophobic,” he wrote.
“I had a gay chef that is, in my opinion, the best cook I’ve ever met, a gay stylist that did wardrobe for two of my music videos. I have gay friends in and out of South Africa. I had a gay assistant for music PR and submissions that I worked with for 10 years. Where does this rumour come from?” he tweeted.
His response comes amid ongoing social media discussions, where public figures often find themselves confronting allegations and online narratives in real time.
The award-winning producer has previously been vocal on various social issues, often sharing unfiltered opinions that spark debate among fans and critics alike.
This time, however, he opted to highlight his working relationships and friendships as evidence against the accusations.
Social media users reacted with mixed views, with some supporting his clarification and others debating whether personal associations alone are enough to dismiss claims of homophobia.
