“I’m ready for the hate and the love”: Tshego joins Podcast and Chill Network

Tshego is stepping away from the recording booth and into the podcasting spotlight after officially joining the Podcast and Chill Network as co-host of its newest offering, All The Smoke.

The hip-hop star now teams up with Luthando “BU” Mthembu for the weekly show, which airs every Friday at 20:00.

Positioned as an unfiltered talk platform, All The Smoke dives headfirst into trending topics, pop culture debates and everyday realities, all delivered in the candid style that has become synonymous with the network founded by Mac G and co-hosted by Sol Phenduka.

For Tshego, the move is more than a side project, it marks a personal shift.

“I feel excited about it. I am always about new challenges,” he shared.

“I once said I would never do a reality show, but now I have done one. Since then, I have been rethinking everything I ever said I would never do.”

The rapper admitted that timing played a crucial role in his decision.

As his career evolves, so does his willingness to explore spaces he may have previously avoided. When the opportunity landed on his desk, it felt aligned with his current mindset.

“This is one of those things I would never have done if it was not my own. When I got the call, it was exactly what I needed for where I am in life right now,” he said.

Having built a reputation through chart-topping hits and a distinct influence on modern South African hip-hop, Tshego understands that stepping into the world of outspoken commentary comes with scrutiny.

“I am ready for the new challenge. I am ready for the hate, I am ready for the love. We just keep doing what we do.”
