Gigi Lamayne has revealed how ‘Mashonisa’ became a song.

This is coming after the star announced that she will be releasing another new track ‘Mashonisa’ with the powerhouse of women in the music industry in Makhadzi and Busiswa.

Gigi said that she started off as a Tiktok challenge and now has become one of the biggest songs in the country.

The rapper took to Instagram and revealed that load-shedding propelled the idea of the #MashonisaChallenge and that’s how she decided to make a song out of it.

The rapper shared a video on her Intagram captioned; “How it became a song  Loadshedding had me like  #MashonisaChallenge.”
