Activist Nomzamo Mbatha shares with excitement on social media that she’s being appointed by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees as a Goodwill Ambassador.
The actress said on her post that she sees this as an opportunity to serve and also a responsibility on her path.
“…The only thing I have ever been sure of throughout the course of my life was that I wanted to serve. In whichever direction life would take me. It is an honour to join the organization that inspired me as a little girl and continues to implore me as a young woman, to be named Goodwill Ambassador is an honour and a responsibility I hold dear. May we all be surgeons of humanity and the change we so seek to see in this world. Honoured to serve alongside the UNHCR, the United Nations and my continent.” She said.
