Beautiful women are bad for men’s health, study says

We all know that beautiful women lead to financial suicide, Shillings-cide, as men spend themselves into a shallow grave trying to impress them. Now a new study says one-on-one contact with a beautiful woman could harm men’s health, raising stress hormones to dangerously high levels.

The study reveals that when men are with chicks that they see as as “out of their league,” the risk of death is very high, with cortisol levels rising so high that heart attacks and strokes become real and present dangers.

This is another case of hard science proving the obvious,” said Toronto-based psychiatrist Irvin Wolkoff, who took part in the study.

To conduct this groundbreaking study, researchers at the University of Valencia tested 84 male students.

Each of these males were made to sit in a room and solve a Sudoku puzzle. Two strangers, one male and one hot female, were also in the room.

When the hot female stranger exited the room and the two men remained sitting together.

The stress hormone cortisol of the volunteer did not rise. However, when the volunteer was left alone with the hot female stranger, his cortisol levels rose like the sun on a Monday morning.

This rise was measured by a saliva swab.

The researchers found that, in some cases, the cortisol levels of the men rose so high, they were compared with the adrenaline-rush which comes with jumping out of an airplane.

“For most men, the presence of an attractive woman may induce the perception that there is an opportunity for courtship,” said the researchers.

This study showed that male cortisol levels increased after exposure to a five-minute, short social contact with a young attractive woman. It provides evidence that interpersonal interaction can influence the secretion of cortisol,” they added.
