Sex is the highest level of intimacy, and many people do believe in this fiercely.
When two people engage in the physical act of love, it means they are ready to be their most natural self with each other.
They could be vulnerable, hesitant, emotional, or passionate – all at the same time with their partner.
However, many times, there might be several red flags during sex that might indicate something is not right and we don’t even notice them.
Here is a look at some of them.
1. They don’t reciprocate your needs
If a person is selfish in all aspects of life, the same will be visible in the bedroom also. A person who thinks only about themselves will be focused on only you pleasing them, and not the other way round. If a person constantly ignores your requests, wants, or desires, this can indicate an issue.
2. They don’t make eye contact
As mentioned earlier, sex is a vulnerable act. If someone is not making eye contact, it might indicate your partner’s reluctance to be fully vulnerable and trusting. If they never lock eyes with you while being intimate, something might be going on inside.
3. No kissing
If the person you are intimate with doesn’t want to kiss you, that could mean that they refuse to show you affection. As per experts, if there’s something you or your partner typically enjoys in bed, and one of you starts to shy away from it, that could be a red flag. It could mean that the relationship is purely physical for your partner.
4. Pressuring you to do things you aren’t comfortable with
If your partner wants you to perform certain acts that you aren’t comfortable with, that’s a sign they don’t respect your boundaries. A true partner always cares about you and your comfort level in doing certain things.
5. No cuddling
Cuddling is an important part that builds physical and emotional trust. If your partner wants to put up a wall after sex, it could mean they are not looking for a deeper connection, and that they are treating the relationship as a casual fling.
